World 1 serves as the proving ground for every two-player team. Consisting of 20 obstacle stages that test steering precision, narrow bridge balancing, and coordinated button presses, clearing this world earns the official World 1 completion badge and opens access to World 2.

World 1 Overview & Checkpoints

World 1 emphasizes fundamental balance mechanics over raw speed. Throughout the 20-stage course, glowing green checkpoint pads automatically save your duo's progress. When either player falls off the track, both respawn together at the last activated pad with zero loss of stage progress.

Key hazards in World 1 include:

  • The Divorce Plank (Single-plank bridges): Barely wider than the scooter tires. Driver must tap W to crawl at 50% speed without steering mid-span.
  • The Human Sacrifice Gate (Red/Green timed gates): One player must dismount and hold down a weighted button floor plate while the other rolls through and stops on the other side.
  • Ascending spiral ramps: Constant steering input without over-tilting. Never jump on spiral ramps!

Stages 1 to 10: Learning the Turning Radius

  1. Stages 1–4 (Calibration): Wide paved platforms designed to let duos test voice chat delay and calibrate who calls out jumps.
  2. Stages 5–7 (The First Gaps): Flat jump ramps separated by open voids. Driver accelerates at full throttle; passenger jumps right at the ramp edge.
  3. Stages 8–10 (Tight 90-Degree Corners): Learn the "Brake-Turn-Accelerate" rhythm. Slow down before the turn, rotate the chassis, then re-engage forward throttle once the path is clear.

Stages 11 to 20: Narrow Bridges & S-Curves

  1. Stages 11–14 (Wobbly Planks): Narrow wooden boards where steering adjustments will immediately flip the rear wheel off the ledge. Align the scooter completely straight before entering, then let forward momentum carry you across without touching A or D.
  2. Stages 15–18 (Moving Hazard Blocks): Periodic swinging blocks that sweep across the path. Come to a complete stop on the staging zone, wait for the block to pass, then drive through in the clear window.
  3. Stage 19 (The S-Curve Balance): Alternating left and right curves. Feather the brake between each bend so the scooter does not gain excessive centrifugal lean.

Final Jump & World 1 Badge Unlock

  • Stage 20 Mega Ramp: The final obstacle requires a full-speed runway sprint into a high-elevation jump. Both wheels must be centered on the ramp face before the passenger triggers maximum jump velocity.
  • Badge Unlock: Crossing through the rainbow archway automatically awards the official World 1 Badge (Asset ID 81867754390063) to both avatars and permanently unlocks the teleport gate to World 2!

Why do we keep falling off the narrow wooden plank bridges?

The driver is likely holding down W and trying to steer while moving at speed. In World 1, tap W to crawl at 50% speed, align the front wheel before entering the plank, and do not steer while rolling across.

How do we coordinate the red/green button safety doors?

Have the rear passenger step off to hold down the button pad. The driver rolls through the open doorway and immediately brakes. The passenger then runs through on foot and re-mounts the rear seat.
